How To Get To Us

Driving

From M54, Telford, Wolverhampton or Kidderminster take the A442 to Low Town area of Bridgnorth and, cross over the River Severn into Underhill Street (A458). 300 yards from the bridge the road bends sharp right. On this bend turn left towards Cleobury Mortimer (B4363) continue on up this road for about half a mile then just before the church you will see the sign for Old Mill Lane on your left. Take this lane, drive past the village hall on your right, and then you will come to a cross road. At the cross road – drive between the 2 brick pillars and you will see Pine Tree Lodge directly on your right. Parking is on the left hand side opposite The Lodge.

By Railway

The nearest railway stations are at Wolverhampton, Telford and Shrewsbury which are all served by buses direct to Bridgnorth. The nearest bus stop to Pine Tree Lodge is located either opposite The George Pub in Station Road or Opposite Beaman’s Butchers in Underhill Street. If you ask the bus drivers nicely they will often drop you at the bottom of the Cleobury Mortimer Road (B4363). From here you can walk up Oldbury Bank (B4363) towards Cleobury Mortimer, over the Bypass Bridge then, just after Fells Orchard, next to the telephone box turn left up the gravel track. Follow the gravel track until it meets a tarmac road. Then carry straight on for about 150 yards to the crossroads. At the crossroads Pine Tree Lodge can be found on your left, through the brick pillars.

For a more scenic rail journey, take the main line to Kidderminster and then the Severn Valley Railway to Bridgnorth. When you come out of Bridgnorth Station turn right, then take the steps down then along the gravel road to the main road. Then turn right up Oldbury Bank towards Cleobury Mortimer then follow the instructions above.

Access into Pine Tree Lodge

Pine Tree Lodge is a recently converted annex, and as such we were a little restricted by ground level height differences and internal space requirements to make the accommodation easily accessible by all people with limited mobility.

There is a parking spaces opposite The Lodge. From here you will have to walk over a slightly uneven gravel driveway up a 15cm high step, down a 5 metre long stone flag pathway, down a 20cm step, over the 5cm high front door cill to get in to the hallway. There is a further step down in to the kitchen/diner and then a standard staircase up to the lounge, bedroom and bathroom. See the floor plan below.

The bathroom has a standard height bath with a shower over the taps and a shower screen. The toilet and basin are standard domestic sizes.

There is vinyl floor covering in the Kitchen/Diner, Ceramic tiles on the floor in the Bathroom and carpet elsewhere.

There is no smoking throughout The Lodge but smokers are welcome to use the garden.

To ensure that your accommodation is ready and we can have the keys ready for you, we ask that guests do not arrive before 3pm, preferably on a Friday. An earlier arrival may, however, be possible by prior arrangement. We also ask that guests leave by 11am on the day of departure so that The Lodge can be prepared in time ready for the next guests arrival.
